Boot Camp FAQ's
How
do I sign up for this fitness program now?
Go
to
registration and fill out the registration form. After filling
out the registration form, please follow the payment instructions.
We accept cash, check or you can pay with credit card securely
via PayPal. Once we've received your registration information,
we'll contact you via email before the camp start date with details.
What
if the camp already started but I want to start TODAY?
Go
to
registration and fill out the registration form and choose
the 1, 8 or 12 Pass Card options so you can come to class TODAY!
Once you make that choice to get fit, it is important to act on
it ASAP and start transforming your life! See you in Boot Camp!
What
if I can Only Attend 2 or 3 days per week or am visiting?
Boot
Camp is designed as a 4 day a week program (this is boot camp
afterall!) but if this doesn't work into your schedule, you have
the option of purchasing a 1, 8 or 12 class Pass Card that must
be used during the camp you are registered for.
How
will I track my progress?
You will get your measurements taken in a 10 minute consultation during the first and last week of camp by your trainer.You want to know the beginning point so you can accurately
track your progress.
- You
will be able to analyze your body composition and estimate your
body fat percentage with a bio impedence scale that will be available
to you. Campers
who show up everyday and give 100% while eating a healthy diet
can expect a 1-5% reduction in body fat in their first 4-week
camp!

You will be able to have your measurements taken.
These are used for post-camp
comparison so you can see how well you did!
These
numbers and all other private information are always
kept private and strictly
confidential.
What
do I need to bring to boot camp?
You
will need to bring one set of 5 or 8 lb. hand weights and any
type of exercise mat. You will also want to bring water to keep
yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry
off with and gloves or mittens during cooler months. Dress in
a layered fashion...even if it is chilly, you will get warm very
fast!
What
if I want to buy supplements to help me reach my goals faster
?
You
can go to Max
Muscle to find high quality and natural vitamins, protein
powders, weight loss supplements and more! Getting results isn't
just about exercise, it's also about proper nutrition. Bend Adventure
Boot Camp has partnered with Max Muscle Sports Nutrition for that
reason alone. MMSN (Bend) will provide you with all the nutritional
information you may need along the way to reaching your fitness
goals. Each 4 week Adventure Boot Camp program also includes one
free nutritional seminar and a sports nutrition product sampling
event. Our clients can also take advantage of a 15% discount on
Max Muscle products and exclusive nutritional packages!
Will
I be sore sometimes?
Most people
feel some soreness for the first week. After that point, it is
slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!
What
kinds of people go to camp?
They are people
just like you. People who need a little push to jump start their
fitness and wellness program or enjoy fun group fitness. All fitness
levels will be challenged.
Is
there a refund policy or cancellation fee?
If you are
unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control,
we can offer you a credit towards future boot camp. There are
NO MAKE UP DAYS unless it is an emergency or serious injury. Please
select your class options or Pass Card based on when you are able
to attend. If there is an emergency, you must notify your trainer
immediately in order to use those days as make- ups days in the
following camp. This credit is nontransferable. Credit is not
given toward private fitness training or any other products or
services provided by Victoria Adelus, Josh Field or Adventure
Boot Camp in Bend. There is no cash refund after the camp has
started. Sorry, this is not negotiable.
If you can't attend the camp you registered for, there is a $20
cancellation fee if you don't cancel your registration online
by the Friday before class starts. This is non-negotiable as there
are costs for the registration service that are paid if you are
registered for the class.
What
is a typical day like at camp?
That's difficult
to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate
boredom. You can expect some light running, weight training, obstacle
courses, core training and jumping rope each week. It's always
an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great
deal about proper form and "core stability."
What
is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each complete boot camp has a registration fee of just $14.50
per hour for the Boot Camps. Pass Card pricing is a little higher
and multi camp pricing is lower! Where else can you get premier
or cutting edge fitness instruction or personal trainer at this
incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $40 to
$120 per hour for their services at sports clubs, gyms, athletic
clubs or other fitness programs - this is a great opportunity
to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal
trainer for just a fraction of the cost right here in Bend!

How
soon will I see results?
Performance
improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual
Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on
your effort level. It's becoming common to see a camper go down
1-2 sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone is different
and your lifestyle and diet outside boot camp will make a huge
difference!
Is
there a drop in charge if I don't want to join the full camp?
If you just
want to come once, the drop in charge is $20. Drop-ins in Sisters are $25. Or maybe you have
a friend who is visiting who would like to join in for a few days!
There are also 8 and 12 class Pass Cards if you opt to join in
2 or 3 days a week.
What
will I do after camp is over?
Return for
additional boot camps in beautiful Bend, OR!
